We launched our latest feature, sticky notes! And as always, this was the result of a few kind therapists who emailed us with this suggestion.
Here was the problem:
- People typically walk through the same details each time they record a session summary (although with different specifics).
- Forgetting to include one of these details is annoying, as you have to add that detail into the note later, or re-record your summary.
- Any delay while recording a summary ("hmmm, let's see, what else happened in session...") means that your losing additional time while writing your notes!
And so we came up with this solution:
- Right on the "Generate Note" page, you have a little section now, called your "sticky note".
- Write whatever you want on this sticky note. It'll be "stuck" there with that same information whenever you go to generate another note.
- As a helpful suggestion, we've added some default details in your sticky note, but please, tweak or delete that to your heart's content. This sticky note is for you, not us. Whatever makes your Quill experience easier!
Think of this sticky note almost like a teleprompter, prompting you with what you should be talking about in your summary. Where you might have previously used a literal physical sticky note, now you have this digital one instead.
Here's what it looks like:
Maybe this is a minor feature, maybe it's not. But we quietly launched it a couple of weeks ago, and we're so glad to see so many therapists already using it while they're recording their summaries!
Keep the suggestions and ideas coming! You can email us: jon@quilltherapynotes.com
And we've since moved onto working on another (much bigger) new feature, which will require no additional cost. We're super excited about it. Announcement should be coming in another few weeks!
