Fifth Annual Play Therapy Conference

The Fifth Annual Play Therapy Conference aims to provide mental health professionals and educators with insights into the role of play in trauma healing. Keynote speaker Bonnie Badenoch will discuss relational neuroscience and play therapy. The conference will include hands-on learning opportunities, such as working with sand and miniatures. Attendees will explore neurobiological processes and how they relate to trauma and healing. The agenda includes a focus on brain development, the embodied brain, and the autonomic nervous system.

The conference begins with check-in at 8 a.m. on June 21 and ends at 4 p.m. each day. Sessions will cover neurobiological understanding of trauma, brain development, and hands-on activities.

Bonnie Badenoch

Bonnie Badenoch, Ph.D., LMFT, is a marriage and family therapist, mentor, and co-founder of Nurturing the Heart with the Brain in Mind. She is an author and serves on the advisory board of the Global Association for Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies.

Participants can receive 12 continuing education units toward becoming a registered play therapist or certified child-parent relationship therapy trainer.
