Expanding Trans Futures: Care and Advocacy for Our Tomorrow

The Expanding Trans Futures conference aims to enhance the health and wellbeing of transgender, nonbinary, intersex, and gender expansive communities through education and resources. It will focus on community partnerships, best practices, and innovative research to improve access to care and the quality of care available. Attendees can expect to engage in discussions on nutrition, transmasculine voice therapy, gender affirming care, and more. The conference will also address stigma, misinformation, and support networks for transgender individuals and their families.

The agenda includes a variety of breakout sessions and workshops, such as exploring nutrition needs, assessing patient experiences, and providing tools for working with transgender clients. The event will also feature a Friday evening social and films, offering networking opportunities for participants.

The conference begins with a Friday evening social and films from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The main conference sessions run from 8:00 AM on April 26 to 12:00 PM on April 27. Breakout sessions cover topics such as nutrition, voice therapy, and gender affirming care.
