Ummm, client described physical symptoms like sweating and shaking when he thinks about speaking in front of others. He said, "The thought of standing in front of a crowd makes me panic." We talked about exposure therapy and gradual desensitization. Client’s homework is to practice speaking in front of a mirror and then to a small, supportive audience. He seemed nervous but willing to try these exercises. We’ll check in on his progress in our next session in two weeks.
