Low Self-Esteem Struggles

Subjective:
Client expressed struggles with low self-esteem, feeling inadequate at work, and a tendency to compare himself to colleagues. Client reported often doubting his abilities and feeling "not good enough." Additionally, he stated, "I feel like I’ll never measure up to my colleagues."

Objective:
The 45-minute session focused on the client's negative self-talk and its impact on self-esteem. The therapist introduced techniques for building self-esteem. Client appeared skeptical but agreed to participate in the homework assigned.

Assessment:
Client is displaying signs of low self-esteem and negative self-talk which are affecting his work life. The introduction of self-esteem building techniques is aimed at addressing these concerns.

Plan:
Client is to write down three positive things about himself each day as homework. The next session is scheduled in two weeks to review progress on self-esteem enhancement techniques.
